Choir
Music in worship allows us to show the joy, hope and foundation of our Christian faith. At HUMC, we have opportunities to participate in the Adult Choir.
The Adult Choir rehearses on Weds at 7:30pm from mid-August through mid-June. A variety of musical styles are presented, always scripturally and theologically based. A major cantata is presented at least once a year.
Volunteers are always welcomed to join the choir. To share your musical talent in the choir or to share your solo instrument in Worship, please contact the Director of Music, Connie Salmeri, at [email protected].
Hand Bells
A small handbell and chime choir has been formed and has been in operation since spring 2024. We welcome new ringers-you don’t need to be able to read music, but only count to six! And have a love of music and wish to contribute to worship services.
We meet most Tuesday evenings at 7 PM in the sanctuary, but check the church calendar or contact Joanne Barreca to confirm and also with any questions you may have.
